Diability Parking

A person with either a veteran's license plate or a disability permit does not need to pay for parking, but they do have a 3 hour maximum time limit.

Disability Parking in the downtown core
There are a number of designated disabled parking stalls located throughout the downtown core on the street which are marked with signs or the parking stalls are painted with disability markings. A person who has a valid disability parking permit is also allowed to park for the alotted time for a maximum of three hours.

Disabilty Permits in lots do not receive free parking unless parked in a designated disabled parking stall.

Disability Parking Permits
Temporary and permanent placards are available through the People In Motion office. These placards are issued to qualified individuals (as determined by a physician) to allow legal access to designated disabled parking spaces.
